This camp will highlight the importance of how Niles horticulture had a strong tie to San Francisco and Fresno areas and helped to transform the State of California into an agricultural giant. So much history at the California Nursery Historical Park - it spans the Ohlone, Mission and Rancho Eras. Campers will learn through fun and educational activities the nursery’s role in two World’s Fairs: the Panama Pacific International Exposition (1915), the Golden Gate International Exposition (1939/1940), and the people who made it grow into the largest plant and tree nursery on the West Coast.
