Integrating Learning Styles and “Multiple Intelligence” Theory in teaching Mandarin Applying the “Multiple Intelligence” theory in the language classroom improves a student’s ability to develop the language. “Multiple Intelligence” model teaches language through the sole use of repetitive material using the following platforms: Linguistics, Engineering projects (coding), Art, building 3D puzzles, Music and Games. Activities that incorporate multiple intelligence can promote the use of the target language as it is used in real life. In our Mandarin Summer camps, we will expose children to mandarin and offer them a variety of ways to learn and use the language. No previous knowledge of Mandarin is required.
