Join us for a class all about storytelling and creating art projects through an anti-racist lens. Each class will be structured around a narrative, such as a short story, a book, a poem, or a piece of literature because storytelling can exist in many different ways! Each class will feature the narrative written by a different artist of color, and a different art project in response to the text. Students will learn about artists like Bisa Butler, Kerry James Marshall, and Yoko Ono, as well as writers and scholars like Maya Angelou and bell hooks. All supplies are provided and included in the price of the class.

Service Animals: Certified service animals are always welcomed inside the Armory.
