In this class a variety of simple casting techniques are presented in the first session. The remainder of the class will be focused on the “lost Wax Casting.” The principle tasks will be wax carving, wax sculpture and cast metal finishing. No prior Casting experience required, however knowledge of rudimentary jewelry fabrication will be useful. Non ferrous metals only (copper, brass, nickel brass, bronze, silver, and gold)
