The College Portfolio course is tailored for high school and transfer students, and will guide them through the process of creating a strong portfolio for admission into an art college or art-related major/minor. This course is also beneficial for students who want to prepare a portfolio as a supplement to their college application. This course will emphasize the fine arts, illustration, animation, architecture, graphic and industrial design fields. Graduates of this program have attended top colleges such as Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), University of California Los Angelos (UCLA), California College of the Arts (CCA), Carnegie Melon University (CMU), Washington University in St. Louis (WashU), Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design and Art Center College of Design.
This camp will include:
• An introductory Figure Drawing lesson.
• One individual portfolio consultation session.
• Preparing students for national and regional art contests.
