Meet ScratchJr. ScratchJr is an orange cat and a favorite in the neighborhood. We will create activities with ScratchJr where you can imagine what their home, city, friends, and farm animals like to do.

ScratchJr allows you to create stories, animation and games. It offers a simple coding environment that uses blocks to build and form your program. This program defines how your movable objects called sprites behave and lets your control various aspects of your environment.

This is one of the best learning tools to get your child to think logically and systematically. It is far simpler than its more popular parent, Scratch. Like Scratch, ScratchJr was developed by the MIT Media Lab and has garnered rave reviews.
