Our Counselors in Training (CIT) program is very popular for those campers who have outgrown the traditional camper age, but who still love our Theater Camp and want to contribute. CITs work with the CIT Director to support the production, campers, and adult staff in many ways, all the while learning the skills and techniques needed to become full-fledged counselors. CITs work in the woodshop, help with costumes and set design, and help with songs, music, and acting. During the performance CITs either work backstage or help with the younger camper groups. Due to the growth and popularity of this program over the years, all CITs are required to attend the full 4 week session. We have three different tiers for CITs, based on their age and experience.
Counselors in Training 1: just graduated campers going into 7th or 8th grade
Counselors in Training 2: seasoned CITs entering 9th – 11th grade
Junior Counselors: perfectly seasoned and fully cooked CITs entering 11th or 12th grade
Application required. Contact Camp Director, Josh Johnson if interested.
