YADA® (Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts) has been offering comprehensive theatrical training to youth in Los Angeles for 25 years. YADA offers a safe and exciting environment in which students can learn, grow, and enrich their lives while practicing the skills of theatrical performance.
Classes are delineated based on age (3-17 yrs) and ability (TOTS-Master & Company). And each class culminates in an unforgettable performance. We also have Improvisation for kids, to encourage creativity, self confidence and ease anxiety. Private coaching is also available in voice, acting, and dance.
We are pleased to bring you the highest quality theatrical training for youth that Los Angeles has to offer. For the children, we offer spontaneity, enthusiastic imagination and fun ways to implement personal growth. For the parents, we offer a safe, encouraging, communicative environment for both parent and child. What makes YADA come alive is the unique element that each child brings to the theatre.
Student Health Forms are required for all YADA students. These forms, always kept confidential, are essential in case of an emergency, and are a good opportunity for you to inform YADA of any special needs your child may have. No child will be allowed to participate at YADA without a completed Health Form. If you have not yet filled out a Health Form for your student and they are participating in an upcoming YADA production please click here to complete the YADA Health Form.
YADA Tuition Awards
Every session YADA offers tuition awards to those families in financial need. It is our belief that every child deserves to discover the magic of theatre, and we make it our mission to provide YADA to those who qualify.
Applicants will need to provide proof of any and all income, most recent tax returns, explanation of any extenuating circumstances, and a completed financial aid form.
