The City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide range of programs and activities to meet the health, recreation, and leisure needs of our neighbors. The City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department is one of only 183 agencies in the entire country that has earned national accreditation from the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). This prestigious designation confirms our City’s commitment to providing our neighbors with quality Parks and Recreation programming and services, along with efficient and effective operations.
