Summer Camp, 1-2
'My Friends, School and Family'
Drive 'Tesla' cars, use 'My First Microscope', experience 'Science Wizardry'
- 'Science Wizardry-Test-Tubes, Colors ,and Bubbles'
Student will use baking soda, vegetable oil, cross linked polyacrylate copolymer, red cabbage powder, and color tablets, and their test tubes create their own Wizard Wand ! Cast spells, Magic hat, test tube crystal ball, sorcery to make a magic wand, lava color-changing froth, a fizz of bubbling frothy foam, and a glow-in-the-dark bubbling potion
- 'Bio Safari!' - My First Telescope'
Fully functional microscope, with magnification levels of 40x to 1,000x, helps in up-close examination of small objects, specimens of animals, plants, textile, pollen and spore specimens by viewing prepared specimen slides under a microscope. The activity introduces the scientific methods, the process of closer examination, observation and record and recall.
‘'Beginners Circuitry'
Instructor will help build interesting circuits for doorbells, radios, alarms, flash lights, laser light, street lamps, and a fan modulator. The colored graphics, represent the real electronic names, and real symbols used in the circuit projects. Students will learn about electricity and the flow of current.
- 'Starry, Arty, Crafty, Clayey Day'
Learn the first few elements of drawing - lines, shapes, textures etc, importance of good pencils, types of pencils, shading, ’use of pressure’ , types of shading, stippling, cross hatching, different mediums, shading with mixed mediums, oil pastels. Creating shapes with paper cutting, and clay.
- 'Thrill Rides'
Build an infinite journey roller coaster, with a coaster car, rods, and connectors that can be clicked together in a multitude of 3D configurations. Students will learn to initiate the mechanism, with the slingshot launching mechanism. The activity is a great experience to hone the child’s creativity, logical thinking, and hands-on skills. Children improve their hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and imaginations!
- 'Scratch Programming'
A language specially developed for elementary to high school children, to program and develop interactive stories, games, and animations. Children will learn to reason systematically, work collaboratively, and think creatively.
- 'Engineer with Snugly Hugs'
Students will develop complex projects using snugly fitting cubes of different shapes and sizes, non-warped pieces, used as scaffolding, ramps, paths, and much more, and they'll learn the principles of basic physics to embrace their creativity, ingenuity, reasoning, and teamwork.
- 'Outdoor Sports'
Tesla Cars, three legged race, parachute team work, sack race, spoon race, balance beam, agility balance board, ladder toss, relay baton race, scoop ball, 4-square, hop scotch, zip ball, basketball, soccer.
- 'Big Fort Factory'
Students will use curved Sticks, straight Sticks, connector shapes, accessory clips to create variations of big forts, small forts, curved forts, straight forts, tunnels, castle, playhouse, car, plane, ship, submarine, Teepee, and much more t help develop their critical thinking, creativity, spatial intelligence, and STEM skills.
