Did you know that we can explore the stars and other astronomical objects even during daytime hours? We will visit the Hall’s Planetarium, as well as stand under the real sky. With telescopes, including ones that we will make ourselves, we’ll investigate the properties and motions of various objects visible in the daytime. We will learn about the Sun, the Moon, and even the planet Venus that may make an appearance. With these first-hand experiences of daytime astronomy, you will be ready to continue your own investigations of the night sky!
On the first day of camp, please check in at the Visitor Services Desk (in the main lobby entrance) for directions to your classroom.
