Ability: Serve in consistently, Rally with peers and good technique
Emphasis is on movement, ball control, court coverage, spins, and the all-court game.
What do I need for a camp?
Apparel:
Athletic tennis shoes (must be lace-up - no Velcro is allowed) with
socks
- no running shoes/cross-trainers for Int. II – Elite players
(Tennis shoes only)
Hat/ Visor
Athletic/ Tennis shorts or skirt
Breathable shirt (light colors advised)
Sunglasses optional
Sun Safety Notice: If a player does not have a hat, we will provide
them with one from our pro shop and charge the family account.
Other:
- Sunscreen Please apply before arriving at the court and bring it
with you to reapply throughout the day
- Tennis Racquet. If you do not have a racquet, no need to purchase in
advance as you may use our demo racquet on your first day, and your
coach can advise you on which size and type of racquet would be best
to purchase. (We also have racquets available for purchase in the
our pro shop).
- 3 ring binder and pen (Int II- Elite)
- Water bottle (We provide Ice water for refills)
- Snack/ Lunch - a snack break will take place midway through camp.
- Yoga Mat or towel to sit on during lunch/ snack break.
Special Needs
Our staff has been trained and are continually advised by certified experts to work with students with all types special needs.
No player is ever turned away, as we proudly work with Special Needs students and students with disabilities. Tennis is the sport for everyone!
