Do you think electronic instruments are super cool? Ever wanted to build a synthesizer but didn't know how? Ever wanted to clear out a room with the flick of a switch? Well, you're in luck! Synth-in-Place is a five-day crash course all about making electronic music from scratch.
No experience is necessary, so don't worry if you don't know your transistors from resistors. Together, we'll learn how circuits can make sound, how to modify those circuits to sound interesting, all the way to designing a synthesizer of our own.
All the components are sent to your home, and we'll walk through the basic steps to build your own, one-of-a-kind electric wonder box. It's fun, it's ridiculous, it's creative, and you'll learn a lot. This summer, come make some noise with us.
