Each year we host the Great American Backyard Camp-Out to explore and celebrate our Parks through games, hikes, a Oakland Parks, Recreation and Youth Development campfire and good food! It is a family event and located at Joaquin Miller Redwood Park 3590 Sandborn Dr. Oakland, Ca 94602.
Registration is now open for all three session starting June 29-30, July 27-28 and August 31-September 1. The event will included dinners, s'mores and continental breakfast. Families are responsible for bringing their own camping equipment.
We ask that you leave behind radios, TVs, computers, and pets. Kerosene lamps will not be permitted due to red flag warnings.
