The ultimate showdown is here! BattleBots® combines the craftsmanship of engineering with the high-octane excitement of a robotics championship. Grab your goggles and get ready to build a robot from scratch before battling in the arena. Following design standards set by tech experts at BattleBots®, you'll bring your idea to life by brainstorming, workshopping, and customizing your robot to your exact specifications. You'll continue optimizing its features until it's ready to rumble against your peers in a variety of robot challenges, culminating in a BattleBots®-style robot tournament! Think you have what it takes to make it to the winner's circle? “Let the bot battle begin!"

In this course, you will:

  • Build a custom robot with VEX V5 hardware
  • Learn how the pros build BattleBots® champions
  • Explore mechanical engineering principles
  • Compete in a BattleBots®-style tournament
