Explore digital art in this exciting class! Learn to create a series of illustrations using drawing fundamentals with industry-level Adobe Creative Cloud software and Wacom tablets. Bring your story ideas to life and translate your drawing skills to an all-new medium.
Make your own characters, environments, animated GIFs, book covers and more. The perfect class for both beginner students and those with prior digital art experience to learn Adobe software and fundamental illustration concepts. New projects and exercises every semester let you explore new ideas every time. Experienced students may repeat this class or consider Digital Illustration II.
Skill Level: Digital artists of all skill levels welcome; basic computer and drawing experience strongly recommended.
Supplies: All hardware and software provided in our Digital Lab. Students will use Adobe Photoshop CC and Wacom tablets.

Classes must meet a minimum enrollment by June 5, 2024 to run for the Summer term.
