Aerial silks, first made famous by Cirque de Soleil, is a performance art where aerialists are suspended in the air by fabrics. By climbing and wrapping the fabrics around their bodies, performers are able to drop, swing, and spiral into various poses. Aerial practice improves flexibility, core, and upper body strength, and provides a well-rounded work-out regime.
