Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling style martial art. It was originally created in Japan, but eventually made its way to Brazil, evolving into what is commonly known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Jiu-Jitsu promotes the principle that a smaller person can successfully defend themselves against larger, stronger assailants by utilizing leverage and proper technique. Our submission curriculum is in line with Master Baret Yoshida of Und1sputed San Diego. Although the main structure of the class focuses on the fundamentals and principles of no gi Jiu-Jitsu, intertwined with these lessons are also wrestling techniques and concepts used to increase your grappling ability and matt-sense/awareness.
