This is the second of 5 courses in the Java series. It delves deeper into the object-oriented concepts such as encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, overriding methods, overloading methods, and interfaces. In addition, it covers exception handling, enum types, and uses classes from the Collections Framework. The course does some innovative projects to make the class fun and inspiring for students.
Upon completion of this series, it will cover all topics in the AP Computer Science exam.
This series is roughly equivalent to what is being taught at a high school Java class. However, our class uses the latest Java version, emphasizes best practices, and has fewer students so each person will get individualized attention.
