Learn about robotics as you create projects from Minecraft® using LEGO® components. You'll make a shelter with controllable gadgets, a mine with a moving spider, and other Minecrafty designs! Operate them all with programs that you create with WeDo® and Scratch® software. Plus, we'll use Circuit Cubes to power a motorized Creeper, minecart and Minecraft Pig that we build with LEGO elements. Circuit Cubes include motors, lights, and batteries which teach students how to connect electric components to power designs made with LEGO components.
Then, in the afternoon, explore Minecraft® in Creative Mode, building projects which teach how to design with redstone circuits. You'll make working doorbells, traps, siren lights, armor equippers, volume measures, and more. We'll master the use of repeaters, delays and comparators in our devices. We'll also make interactive entertainment such as games and water slides. You'll get some new building and strategy knowledge, and do plenty of creative design and engineering!
