Join us in celebrating Montclair Library’s 90th anniversary in 2020 with a
year-long book club featuring books set in Oakland!
From fiction to non-fiction, mysteries to cookbooks, we’ll explore our city through six books sure to provoke thought and spark interesting discussions.
The book club will meet on the second Tuesday evening of every other month (July 14, September 15, and November 10).
Please email engagement@oaklandlibrary.org for the link to the Zoom meeting.
Upcoming selections include:
July 14 - Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon
September 15 - Flavors of Oakland: a Cookbook in 20 Stories by Anya Ku
November 10 - There There: a novel by Tommy Orange
