Let your imagination run wild as you build the zoo of your dreams. Be visionary in designing an original layout and deciding which creatures (real or imaginary) will live there. Master paper crafting skills like tent and tab folding to fashion 3D animals, enclosure walls and upright features like trees and ticket booths. Explore color and texture techniques as you embellish each habitat by drawing in sand, water, rocks or plants to bring your fiercely inventive creation to life.
Note:
While we offer a similar class for younger kids, the pacing and content of this class is carefully calibrated for rising 2nd–3rd graders.
