What You'll Do
Make a mighty castle fit for a monarch. Master the basics of building with paper, creating tabs, hinges and strong shapes and securing them with long-lasting taping techniques. Engineer walls, drawbridges and towers built to feel sturdy and look stately. Be Courageous as you test your royal residence for strength and share its design with others, seeking inspiration and feedback from your fellow castle builders.
Note: Builders may not finish their entire castle during class. If they want to keep creating, they’ll have all the skills and construction techniques (and motivation!) they need.
While we offer a similar class for older kids, the pacing and content of this class is carefully calibrated for rising 2nd – 3rd graders.
