In this class, students will learn various styles of dance and blend these styles together. For the beginner, this class will give you a deeper understanding of movement and dance by learning basic choreography and teaching terminology. Enjoy the styles of Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Modern in this class.
Proper attire for Female identifying children: Hair in a low bun, black leotard, Jazz shoes or barefoot. No ballet skirts or tutus. black spandex shorts over leotard and tights are okay.
Proper attire for Male identifying children: Hair out of the face, white leotard or white tank top, black leggings, black spandex shorts, black gym shorts or black sweatpants, jazz shoes or barefoot. No ballet skirts or tutus.
Proper attire can be found at Walmart, Target or a dance store near you i.e. A1 Dance and Theatrical in Castro Valley.
