For currently enrolled high school students. This course is a two-semester, one-year class that will prepare students for the spring 2023 AP Music Theory Exam. Topics include advanced theory and harmony, four-part writing, ear training, sight singing, music repertoire and history. Students may take this class for UC approved high school credit in conjunction with the School for Independent Learners (SIL). Please note: This course is not eligible for a Core Curriculum discount. Tuition includes workbook and access to our training and notation software. Prerequisite: Music Theory 6 or equivalent.
