Feel confident in your ballet class! We have created a new approach to prepare your mind and body. By utilizing the Pilates Apparatus equipment we find feedback on alignment. This resistance based training challenges and supports our core muscles, which are the foundation of classical ballet technique. Finding this connection and coordination between mind and body is enlightening. This newly found kinesthetic awareness can be seamlessly integrated into barre work. During the ballet portion we will focus on fundamental ballet technique and skills that will allow you to confidently and safely join our Intermediate/Advanced program classes. We will introduce how to execute positions, steps, and simple movements with correct alignment. These exercises will build strength, flexibility, and coordination. We will also introduce basic vocabulary and the artistic element of musicality.
