Spend the afternoon splashing in Rush Creek as we learn about various aspects of the water system around us. Girls will learn about and assist in different techniques for measuring water quality. We’ll explore the creek and discover the diverse wildlife that calls it home. Our naturalists will also discuss with the girls ways that they can help to protect our lakes, rivers, and streams.
Additional Information: Most programs include an outdoors portion. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. We will be outside, barring thunder and lighting, rain or shine. Additionally for this event, girls may get up to knee deep in the creek. Please wear clothing and shoes that you are not afraid to get wet and muddy.
