The Physical Education curriculum at St. Elizabeth Catholic School follows the guidelines set forth by the Diocese (see the link below), and also complies with the Missouri State and National P.E. standards.
The classes combine academic learning with physical movement and fun games.
In addition to the usual sport skills, the program is focused on learning about the body, good nutrition and a variety of safety awareness information.
First through second grades follow a developmentally appropriate program to learn and master gross motor skills through a variety of games. We focus on games that can be used on the playground
Beginning with third grade, fitness and sport skills are developed with increased proficiency.
Each year the sixth graders showcase their skills for juggling and balancing by performing a Circus Show for the student body.
