Advanced Software Application Development

Students apply the skills they have gained from their previous courses as they learn about writing code to support activities in database management, sending and receiving information over the internet, writing HTTP headers and methods, streaming web services, and user access and authentication with OAuth. Students are free to design their final semester project in the context of the aforementioned technologies. Though not a requirement, students ideally arrive to class on the first day ready to enhance and build upon projects or ideas conceptualized in earlier computer science courses.
