Students learn to build and pilot racing drones. They learn to pilot using the Rotor Rush Simulator and start flying on micro-drones (tiny whoops) while building larger 3-inch or 5-inch racing quads. Students are taught the engineering principles behind how drones fly including printed circuit boards, coding, and the physics of flight. Students compete in the Gateway Drone Racing League.
