During the workshop, students will learn:
- Techniques in helping your child utilize their time wisely
- Working on study habits
- Test-taking strategies
- Email etiquette
- Decision making
- Dealing with interpersonal relationships
- So much more!
The course is designed to help students foster positive relationships with the adults, teachers, and mentors around them while also learning to advocate for themselves, use discernment during decision-making situations, and take one step towards developing their independence are all goals of the course. The instructor will be sharing techniques, using mock examples and scenarios to help students create a dialogue for gaining confidence in their identity. The goal is for the student to create an action plan to help steer students towards a positive outlook for the new school year.
