Level 4 - AMC 8 & Mathcounts (7th Grade & Above)
This is a more intensive and faster pace class designed for upper grade students or who has been in level 3 class in prior year. This level 4 class spends less time on teaching the concepts than level 3 because the upper grade students have the knowledge of the required concepts.
Topics includes counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, real world applications, reading and interpreting graphs and tables, linear or quadratic functions and equations, coordinate geometry.
Students will be assigned in different levels according to the assessment result. Each level consists of 2 years of curriculum and class materials. Students take 2nd year in the same level will have different material than the 1st year
Note: Math Competition Program does not follow school curriculum. Students are responsible for all school works, exam, and standardized test.
