This junior robotics course uses a hands-on approach to STEM discovery. Students learn valuable coding concepts while tapping into their imaginations to create and program robots. Step by step, students build for a variety of cool LEGO® robots based around a motor and controller. Then they use a block based programming language to make their creation come to life! It’s educational, cool, and FUN!

We understand that financial emergencies arise. Therefore, while Lab’s financial aid deadline has passed, families may apply for emergency aid at any time, and regardless of the time of year. To qualify for emergency aid, families must present proof of a recent and unexpected change in financial circumstances that took place after Lab’s financial aid deadline. Please email financialaid@ucls.uchicago.edu and put “Emergency Aid” in the subject line. In the body of the email, please explain your emergency situation and attach any available documentation.
