Join Trackers After School for outdoor adventure and folk crafts throughout the year! Trackers offers transported outdoor adventures from select East Bay schools.
Trackers offers a transported After School program that brings kids to nature. This program offers an excellent balance to a long day of classroom instruction. Creative, active lessons wake the children up to the world around them and to their own abilities. Children practice working together and tending to the land. Trackers kids do more than learn, they engage.
Transported After School Outdoors: East Bay
We pick your child up from school for an afternoon of exploring the outdoors or craft work at our Guild Hall in Berkeley. During the school year we explore a wide range of topics, including wilderness survival, fishing, homesteading crafts, archery, and more. You pick up between 5:30 and 6 PM at our Berkeley HQ*. Transported programs operate continuously during the school year (with holiday breaks).
*Cornell, Marin, and Thousand Oaks elementary schools end the day back at their school for check-out.
Tuition Fees and Dates
Your total tuition due will be based on the actual number of days in your school's calendar on the day of your program.
- Regular release days (Glenview, Malcolm X, Washington, Sylvia Mendez (Formerly LeConte), Rosa Parks, NOCCS, King, Marin, and Thousand Oaks): $41 per program day, billed in 9 monthly installments
- Early release schools (Cornell, Peralta, Oxford, Yu Ming): $49 per program day, billed in 9 monthly installments
You may choose to pay your tuition in 9 equal monthly installments, or pay in full. Your tuition is based on the total number of days for that specific school and day schedule. For ease of accounting, payments are divided into nine equal payments, regardless of the number of meetings in that specific month. Payments are automatically debited once monthly from September - May. Please note that registrations are for a full year; however, we do allow for mid-season withdrawals per our cancellation policy.
Trackers After School will also not meet the following weeks. This schedule applies regardless of your school's schedule, as Trackers runs break programs and staff development based primarily on the BUSD/OUSD calendar.

- January 7 - January 11: Trackers Staff Winter Break week
- February 18 - 22: February Break Camp week

Special Needs
Some special needs can be accommodated, please contact for more details.
A few classes offer the following text regarding special needs students:
"We believe all children should have an IEP! Every person learns in a different way, at their own pace. Individualized, project-based learning means being intensely familiar with all one’s students abilities and needs. We will trust our teachers to present curriculum in a way that provides the right level of challenge at the right time. When we observe that a student could benefit from additional support, we will work with the parents and call in outside resources as necessary to help provide the tools to succeed for that child."
