Our Spirit School program nurtures the spirits of our children and youth, offering them opportunities to connect with others their age and learn about Unitarian Universalism in age-appropriate ways. Through exploring the Unitarian Universalist principles and sources, world religions, moral tales, and justice topics — and engaging with spiritual practices and justice projects — our youth are able to deepen their own spiritual beliefs and community connections.
Our program uses a co-op model meaning that you do not need to pay for your child to participate, and we ask that all families contribute to the program by volunteering. Some ways to do this include teaching a class, coordinating or helping out with an event (or two or three!), and/or bringing food to designated events. In order to ensure the same people are not always doing the work, we appreciate your cooperation.
