Pizza tastes better when you make it yourself. Students learn basic cooking skills such as sautéing, roasting, knife work, and baking with a strong focus on safety. Using fresh fruit and veggies from the school’s garden students will make dishes such as “Parmesan Yellow Squash”, “Blackberry Scones w/ Lime Curd”, “Plum Tart with Ice Cream”, “Italian Bean Soup”, “Roasted Vegetable Tikka”, “Ratatouille”, and of course “Pizza”. Teacher is currently culinary arts teacher at NMHS.
