Former Oakland resident Mark Oshiro reads from his new YA novel Anger is a Gift. This powerful tale of youth and police brutality takes place in Oakland. After his father is killed by police, Moss finds his school increasing being treated like a police state. He and his schoolmates organize to fight back against the constant intimidation by authorities.
