Inspired by Oakland Freedom School's D.E.A.R. Day model, we will open and close the day with a Harambee circle (which in Swahili means "pulling together") and use cheers, chants and games to build community and a love for reading.
While recommended for families with children 12 and under, all are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
Brought to you in collaboration with the Lincoln Child Center.
