Summer at Mission Trails

Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) Foundation invites students to join our Summer at Mission Trails program, a week-long experience running from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. At the conclusion of the SDUSD morning school session, participating students will be transported to MTRP. Then, with beautiful Mission Trails as our classroom, we’ll learn about the plants, animals, ecosystems, and geology of San Diego, and about the Kumeyaay people, who settled this land thousands of years ago. We’ll learn through team-building games, arts and crafts, and especially through exploring the park! Students will connect with nature, get some physical activity, gain confidence in being in a natural environment, and foster a sense of community as they learn and explore together.
