The Summer Math and Science Honors Academy (SMASH) is a free of cost, STEM-intensive, college preparatory program for underrepresented high school students of color.SMASH Academy is a three-year 5-week summer math and science enrichment program for high achieving, low-income 9th grade students of color. Focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Applicants must be African American, Latino, Native American, Filipino, Pacific Islander, Southeast Asian (i.e. Cambodian, Laotian, Vietnamese, low-income, first-in-family to attend college).

The application for SMASH 2018 is now open! Please apply at smash.lpfi.org. The deadline is March 1, 2018, for Stanford, Berkeley, and UCLA sites, and March 12, 2018 for Davis, Morehouse, Wayne State, and Wharton.
