Kids For The Bay

About

Join us outside this summer for exciting creek bay and ocean adventures! We offer one-week day camp sessions with a variety of themes for Adventurers ages 5-7, Explorers ages 8-11, Camp Ambassadors ages 12-13, and Leaders-in-Training ages 14-17.

Hands-on science investigations, environmental stewardship, nature games and art projects are integrated into each special camp theme. Team building activities and games help to build a fun-loving, connected and caring Summer Camp community of friends, scientists and environmentalists for every week of camp!

Adventurers (ages 5-7) will:

  • Explore bay shorelines
  • Investigate aquatic invertebrates
  • Delve into dinosaurs
  • Meet local wildlife
  • Help restore Strawberry Creek

Explorers (ages 8-11) will:

  • Kayak on the bay
  • Toast s’mores around a campfire
  • Hike to a secret waterfall
  • Visit Aquarium of the Bay
  • Study bay plankton with field microscopes

Camp Ambassadors (ages 12-13) and Leaders-in-Training (ages 14-17) will:

  • Enjoy outdoor science adventures
  • Learn leadership skills by helping and teaching younger campers

Camp sessions run Monday – Friday, 9 AM - 3:30 PM, with flexible drop-off between 8:30 – 9 AM and flexible pick-up between 3:30 – 4 PM.

All camp drop-off and pick-up locations are in the Berkeley area.

Nature Club After-Care is available from 4 – 5:30 PM.
