YouTube is a multibillion dollar site employing thousands of creators, making everything from cooking videos and gaming Let’s Plays to vlogs and short films. Whether you want to be a VTuber or Hollywood director, designing your online brand is the first big step in your career. You’ll learn the fundamentals of capturing HD video and audio with professional-grade DSLR equipment. Record streaming footage live as you score on the leaderboard. Then, take your YouTube stardom to the next level using Adobe’s editing suite to create imaginative video projects and a virtual avatar. Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker or have never picked up a camera before, you’re sure to learn tips and tricks to make your content shine!
Prerequisite: Ability to work in a team. Each student will be provided with an individual computer for editing and will share video equipment.
In this course, you will:
- Use a professional DSLR camera to capture footage
- Edit video and audio with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Design a unique online brand for YouTube (parents will set up
student's channels)
- Record live streams with a virtual avatar created in Adobe Character
