Have fun sculpting as you learn the fundamentals of ceramics. Manipulate clay through hand-building and assorted tools, embellish your creations with patterns and textures, then glaze them with fantastic colors. Create unique pieces fired in CSMA's own kilns!
Projects will include bowls, sculptures, and decorative pieces. Repeat students welcome. This class is perfect for both beginner and experienced ceramics students.
Skill Level: All skill levels welcome!
Supplies: All materials, bisque and glaze firing provided.

Please Note: Face coverings are optional on campus. However, individual faculty may choose to require masks in their studios or classrooms. CSMA supports faculty in making this decision for their individual studios/classes.
Fall
Number of Class Meetings: 12 (No class Oct 17-21 or Nov 20-26)
Winter
Number of Class Meetings: 8 (No class Feb 17-23)
Classes must meet a minimum enrollment by January 10, 2024 to run for the Winter term.
