From inexpensive prosthetic limbs to crucial surgical tools in remote areas, 3D-printed objects are changing the world. Learn to create 3D models as you design intricate objects, prepare them for printing, and then watch them take shape. Get hands on with the 3D printer, learning how to change the filament, clean the printer, and prepare it for the best possible print.
Students will be given a voucher that will allow them to order a 3D printer free of charge if delivery is within the United States.
In this course, your student will:
Complete the 3D printing process from start to finish
Establish best practices for 3D print creation
Work and design in 3D space
Translate visual designs into real objects.
