Be prepared to get your hands dirty, grow fruits and veggies, and learn new things. Participants receive hands-on instruction in organic city farming, including interactive discussions, field trips, and activities such as composting, pruning, seed sprouting, mixing soil, fertilizing, transplanting seedlings, weeding, and harvesting. (The class is co-sponsored by the Rainbow Recreation Center.)
