Think.Design.Code
Students will learn how to create their own styled and dynamic websites, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They will be able to publish their live site online and gain the skills necessary to build websites combining compelling content with the aesthetic styling for a masterpiece beyond imagination. Students will enjoy being able to create their own personal websites at the end of the session, and this knowledge will traverse with them in the future.
What Students Learn:
- HTML5 and advanced syntax, as well as how to create, local, simple web pages.
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), which is used to allow greater control over the design of their webpage.
- UI/ UX design and various prototyping concepts
- Networking— behind the scenes of how domains, servers, and the world wide web works.
What Students Create:
- A full fledged website with their own domain accessible by anyone on the world wide web
- Fully designed pages using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Personal portfolio website with multiple pages and links to other websites.
