Specially designed acting classes and performance opportunities that take place from the comfort of your own home!
Who needs a stage to do a staged reading?! While in-person rehearsals are a no-go, we can still work on skills and tools that are critical in the performing arts: vocal inflection, characterization, and facial expressions! In this session, actors will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for three weeks to create a staged reading that will be recorded and shared on pytnet.org and social media channels. “Romeo and Juliet” is arguably Shakespeare’s most well known tragedy, a story that has been told and retold, adapted and fractured many times over the years. This classic tale of star-crossed lovers, near misses, and rash decision-making is full of big, bold characters. We will perform an abridged version of this five-act play.
