You'll have the chance to live a week of camp adventure. Learn to pitch a tent, cook outdoors and more. Join us for a week of campfire stories, hiking, identifying plants and first aid. There are so many beautiful national parks in this country; you'll learn about these magical places where you can use your new skills. Don’t miss out, as one of the days we even travel to Lakeside Nature Center.

Extended Care Service
We offer Extended Care for campers preschool through grade 8. Our program features Summer at Barstow instructors and teaching assistants. Campers participate in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, board games and LEGO building. Campers are divided into two age-appropriate groups. Preschool through kindergarten campers enjoy activities in the Babbitt Media Center, while campers in grades 1–8 gather in the Lisa Schultz Dining Hall.
AM Care is offered from 7:15–8:45 a.m. daily, after which campers are escorted by staff to their camp meeting place. PM Care is offered from 3:30–6:00 p.m. If you are unexpectedly late or delayed in picking up your children, they are escorted by staff to Extended Care at 3:45 p.m.
