Go wild this summer at Happy Hollow Zoo Camp! Each uniquely themed zoo camp provides two interactive themes a day including learning experiences, hands-on science-based activities, zoo tours, and the opportunity to meet live animals up close! Junior Keepers: Getting Started do you want to work at the zoo? Here is your chance to see what it is like! This camp will introduce you to all the things you need to know about zookeeping. Join us on an adventure while we learn about zoo animals, go on behind-the-scenes tours, make enrichment, and even get a chance to perform Meet & Greets at Critter Corner! Junior Vets Calling Dr. Zoolittle! Join us to discover veterinary diagnostic tools, study symptoms, and go behind-the-scenes at Doc's Critter Care to learn how we keep our zoo animals healthy! Summer Camps at Happy Hollow will provide your child with life-long memories.
Each week of camp follows a different theme and incorporates a variety of age-appropriate activities and adventures.
Children attend camps independently without parents/guardians and should be comfortable in a group setting. Camp Add-ons for 2019, campers will be joining us for full-day Camp (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). All campers may bring or purchase (at the time of registration) water bottles, snacks and a lunch each day. Each camper will receive one camp shirt per week of camp to be worn each day of camp. Additional t-shirts are available for purchase at the time of registration. If registering online, click “Add Merchandise” to purchase bag lunches &/or additional t-shirts.

Campers must be signed in and out of camp with a Camp Instructor each day for your child's safety. A valid form of ID must be presented upon request of the Camp Instructor. Early drop-offs or late pick-ups are not permitted.

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) Scholarship Program will ensure that qualifying San José residents have affordable access to participation in PRNS programs, classes and services. All requests are subject to available funding. Eligibility requirements may differ for each scholarship.
