Level 3 - AMC 8 & Mathcounts (6th Grade & Above)

Problem Solving training with past AMC 8 and Mathcounts questions. Compared to the level 4 class, this level 3 class spends more time on teaching the concepts required for the AMC 8 and Mathcounts. Topics includes counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, real world applications, reading and interpreting graphs and tables, linear or quadratic functions and equations, coordinate geometry.

Students will be assigned in different levels according to the assessment result. Each level consists of 2 years of curriculum and class materials. Students take 2nd year in the same level will have different material than the 1st year

Note: Math Competition Program does not follow school curriculum. Students are responsible for all school works, exam, and standardized test.
